Scandinavian windows
Wooden windows are a product characterized above all by their natural appearance, perfectly fitting into classic and historic buildings. Custom-made in a variety of shapes and colors, they are manufactured from laminated or solid wood, protected from weather conditions through impregnation and paint coatings.
Extraordinary solidity of workmanship
Scandinavian windows are a strong alternative to Euro windows. Their completely different design allows for improved tightness, durability, and burglary protection, as well as interesting functional features.
More space
Imagine a window that doesn’t require opening a curtain (internal blind) or removing larger items from the windowsill. Scandinavian windows open outward, allowing you to freely arrange the interior space around the window.
Window cleaning becomes a pleasure
The well-thought-out design and functionality of Scandinavian window hardware have allowed us to create a product that’s easy to maintain on a daily basis. The cantilever mechanism of Scandinavian windows allows the window sash to be rotated, allowing for cleaning of the window’s exterior from the inside.
Security
Scandinavian windows are equipped with mechanisms that prevent the window from suddenly opening uncontrollably. The window tilts approximately 10 cm and is then locked by a restrictor. Further opening requires the use of both hands to release the lock. This same restrictor also locks the window in the 180-degree position, leaving both hands free for cleaning.
Tightness
Scandinavian windows are characterized by excellent airtightness, confirmed by tests according to the PN-EN 12207 and PN-EN 12208 standards, achieving the highest class 4 air permeability and E1350/E1500 watertightness. The windows’ construction is designed so that wind pressure on the sash presses it against the frame, thus improving the window’s airtightness. In the case of inward-opening windows, the force of wind pressure can lead to a window leak, whereas in Scandinavian windows, this phenomenon is impossible.

Pivot windows opening outwards
Pivot windows with the option of opening outward are an increasingly popular solution in modern architectural designs. Opening outward allows for the use of valuable space in small rooms and ensures better interior ventilation.
The design and opening method of Scandinavian windows make the window frames exceptionally airtight, eliminating drafts in the interior. When a strong wind presses against a closed window, it presses harder against the frame, which in turn improves insulation from the outside.
The window sashes are pivotable, making them easy to adjust to any position and adjust, for example, to the wind’s strength or rain direction. Thanks to this design, simply opening the window sash slightly instead of opening the entire window allows fresh air to easily enter the interior.
Outward-opening pivot windows are easy to clean – simply rotate the window sash to clean its exterior or maintain the mechanisms.
Windows that open outwards
The beauty of Scandinavian design lies in its simplicity. One of the key elements of Scandinavian windows is the use of outward-opening windows. This type of window maximizes natural light and ventilation while providing easy access to the outdoors. Furthermore, outward-opening windows can be fully opened, making them ideal for small spaces. As a result, they have become a popular choice for both homes and businesses in Scandinavia. With their clean lines and functional design, outward-opening Scandinavian windows are a great way to add a touch of style to any space.
Windows that don't open
Fixed windows have a design almost identical to standard windows – the only difference is the lack of hardware and door handles. The main purpose of fixed windows is to provide access to natural light and a view of the outside world.
Fixed windows are highly airtight against both cold and heat, and they also mute ambient noise.
Non-opening windows can be installed in homes, such as basements, attics, stairwells, and in small commercial buildings or high-rise office buildings. Fixed windows are ideal for medical offices, high-rise floors, and any interior with central air conditioning. Office workers can admire the city skyline without the risk of accidentally falling out of a window.
The fact that they cannot be opened makes fixed windows excellent protection against potential burglars, increasing the sense of security of household members and employees.
Because they lack mechanisms and gaps, non-opening windows are easy to clean. The only problem is access to the exterior of the window. The installation of non-opening windows should be carefully considered to allow for cleaning the exterior of the glass and window frames later.
Sliding windows
The design of sliding windows allows for maximum use of available space in the rooms. A chest of drawers or a desk can be placed near the window, or a wall-mounted cabinet can be hung, and the open window sash will not restrict access to furniture or interfere with users’ daily activities.
The large glazing in sliding windows increases the amount of daylight entering the interior. The windows look aesthetically pleasing and visually enlarge the room.
The windows can be opened and closed easily, requiring little effort. A special roller and bearing system ensures smooth sliding of the window sashes.
Sliding windows are perfect for both single-family homes and offices, replacing traditional balcony windows and can also replace doors to an outdoor terrace or garden. Windows used in this way guarantee maximum daylight in rooms. Sliding windows can also be installed instead of doors to the dining room, kitchen, or living room – a solution that will liven up dark, dimly lit spaces.
Scandinavian sliding windows look great in modern and elegant interiors as well as in minimalist designs.
