- Doors without rebates look great in rooms arranged in a modern style, they seem lighter than rebated ones and have a minimalist form.
- A rebated door is considered a more traditional solution. They fit into interiors of any style.
- Non-hinged doors are demanding to install, and the way to adjust their hinges requires adequate knowledge – incorrect installation will result in a gap difference between the frame and the door leaf.
- Gussetless models are more expensive than gusseted ones, primarily they have more expensive hinges. If we have a limited budget, a better choice will be rebated doors.
- Another issue is acoustic properties. If you juxtapose rebated and non-rebated doors of the same thickness, the former will provide better noise insulation. However, under domestic conditions, the difference is very small.
